About the workshop: Aloha! The Ukulele, or “Uke” for short, is a small stringed instrument that has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. It is affordable and one of the easier stringed instruments to learn. It is great for beginners and even young children. Come and learn the basics of this fun and portable instrument!
In this workshop, you will learn about: History of the ukulele | Tuning the ukulele | Strumming | Your first basic chords | Playing your first songs

Jason Kent is an accomplished musician from Kenosha, WI. He has dedicated the last 25 years to musical exploration and is well-versed in stringed bass, standup bass, acoustic/electric bass, acoustic/electric guitar, mandolin, and ukulele. Jason is currently an instructor at Lake Geneva House of Music in Lake Geneva, WI. New students of all skill levels are always welcome. Chris Buttleman is the owner of Lake Geneva House of Music in Lake Geneva, WI. He has extensive experience in entertainment and production management, event coordination, and musical instruction. Since traveling the world with A-list performers, Chris has developed a passion for making music accessible to people of all ages. From beginners to seasoned musicians, Chris personally matches each student with the best-suited instructor and lesson style. Students for individual lessons and rock bands are now being accepted.
