Burlington, WI – Tall Tales Music Festival has announced a festival kick-off party will be held on Wednesday, August 6 at The Coffee House at Chestnut & Pine.  The free event begins at 6:30 p.m., and will feature a performance by Knoxville, TN indie-folk band Cereus Bright.  Genevieve Heyward, a talented local singer-songwriter, will open the evening with a solo set at 7:00 p.m.

Carly Hurley, Coffee House General Manager, describes the event as “an opportunity to gather the community—our sponsors, volunteers, and friends—to hear great music, have some fun, and get excited for the big festival at the end of the month.”

Tall Tales Music Festival takes place August 22-23 on E. Chestnut Street in downtown Burlington.  The festival is funded with support from Music Matters, a local non-profit organization founded to promote and support youth music programming.
